The City of Denver: 14th Street Corridor
Marek Walczak and Wes Heiss are honored to have been selected as the winning artists for our second permanent public art commission. Our interactive interventions will be populating the sidewalks along 12 blocks of the 14th Street Corridor in the heart of downtown Denver, Colorado.

The University of Michigan Museum of Art’s Dialogtable won the GOLD for the 2010 Muse Awards for Interactive Kiosks. Wes built the table and Marek worked with the museum to create the interface.
Public Art Finalists: City of Denver 14th Street Corridor
Along with 4 other artist, Walczak & Heiss were selected as finalists for a public art commission by the City of Denver. In the next few months we will be generating a proposal for presentation in mid-July.
Stapleton’s Central Park Recreation Center
Walczak & Heiss are delighted to be selected for the Central Park Recreation Center in Stapleton, Colorado. Two new interactive public artworks ‘thought balloons’ and ‘field’ will open to the public in January 2011.
Shadow & Light, Walczak & Heiss
Marek Walczak and Wes Heiss will both be participating in Shadow & Light, an upcoming exhibition in Lovestad, Sweden curated by Marek Walczak. 29 artists from the US, Sweden, Denmark and England will take part, with performances and workshops throughout the summer.
